donuts, cider, apples, and fun!

today was our "fun" day... to just enjoy God, His creation, and the things He blesses us with! We decided to go to a near-by Orchard and see what kind of fun we could muster up there!! We had amazingly yummy apple and pumpkin donuts and hot freshly made apple cider...
then walked among the pumpkins, raspberries, and apples!

It was a great way to spend the afternoon of our "fun-day"

Year older and wiser(well hopefully) even without my Wisdom Teeth!

Today marks 34 years on this earth for me, and most definately the greatest year of my life! Marrying my love and getting to spend each day with Tifani has been such an incredible blessing. She encourages me, guides me, strengthens me, and supports me in so many ways...thank you my love!

I have been fortunate to be around so many great men in my short coaching career and have been leaning on them heavily as we start new here in Colorado. Trying to build a foundation of a team and what it means to be a "winner". I have been reading/studying alot of the great coaches and just wanted to pass on some good books to any who are interested. They happen to be all football books, but written by Christian men that can apply to any man, job, or career.

stephanie.

this week has been one without words to describe. on wednesday i found out that one of my dearest friends' test came back positive for cancer. =( my heart dropped and my spirit sunk... how can this be happening Lord? i prayed about how to be available for Christ to use me to be His arms, love, comfort, peace, hope, friendship, etc... for her and felt the pulling to offer to be with her. so here i am, in Michigan. praying daily for wisdom to know what to say or when to say nothing at all. it is such a blessing to be with her during this turbulent time. Please be praying for her healing. for peace that passes understanding to guard her heart and mind.

Here are a few pictures from our day together! we watched her room-mate play mud volleyball at her college homecoming event

and then spent the evening with some of her friends and their little ones!

WINS!!!

Both football and softball teams have had recent victories! (on and off the playing fields) What a blessing it is to be a part of these young lives!

Congratulations girls!

Also... Rob wanted to do something for his guys to show them what it means to be a "team" and to care about each other... so we had a pancake breakfast for them Tuesday morning!

Fall is Here!

Well school is in full swing, been 5 weeks already, its hard to believe. We are so excited for October break! Tifani is going to take me on a tour of the Philippines, I am so so so excited. We both love to travel and have a heart for people overseas! =0)

What we have been up to the last few weeks...

Been crazy busy here T is subbing at a local Montessori School a couple of days a week and volunteering at church for the lady's bible study. We have both been coaching. I have been doing 7th grade football, and T has been coaching 7th and 8th grade softball! Its been fun and challenging at the same time!
